How to do this? baby is 6 months and very difficult at night, doesn't sleep well.
my mil suggested starting to put cereal in her bottle before bedtime so maybe she'll be fuller.
what do I use regular oat baby cereal? Dilute it in how much water.
never did this before

If she’s six months you can just give her actual solids as part of dinner. Honestly though, I think it’s rare that babies don’t sleep well because they’re hungry. I would assume you either have a schedule issue or independent sleep issue or both.

That’s old school and not in check with current medical advice. Don’t give that to your baby. If you want to start solids, begin with a bowl and spoon and speak to your pediatrician in regards to if your baby is ready.

It won't help your baby sleep better and it's also a choking hazard. Learning childcare tips from the older generation only works in cultures where they don't make up new stuff all the time.

This! My Mom did it in the 70s! Now we know better. Just give her some food
