I don’t think so. It’s usually less than ten cents per word. Which languages are you translating to/from?

An average page is 250 words. So 20 cents per word would be $50 a page. That does seem a bit steep, although perhaps fair depending on the project.
How long does each page take to translate?
What is the quality of your translation? (I.e. retaining the meaning, also retaining the nuance and tone, also retaining the literary style)
What is the translation going to be used for?

I used to do Hebrew to English translation, but it was a while ago, and I'm sure rates have changed.
Some guidelines:
For a small project, like a pamphlet or picture book, I gave a set price.
For a full-length book, I charged by the page.
Technical/scientific writing gets charged at a higher rate.
I'm no longer active in the field, but there are Facebook groups where you should be able to connect with other translators.

Depends where you/your clients are, what languages you're translating to/from, and whether or not you work in specific fields, eg translating legal or medical documents.
I second the recommendation to find a Facebook group for translators in your area/field, that tends to be a good way to figure out what rates are reasonable.

Last I heard a few years ago, the going rate was around 10 cents per word, unless you're doing something specific and advanced. I'd also recommend joining the Soferet email group and posting your question there to get current rates from those actively involved in the field.
