He is bh doing very well with pee, but he doesn't seem to know what poop is, or at all cognizant of when he needs to make. How do I teach him to go to the potty?

Sit him down and read to him on the toilet for 10 or 15 minutes around the time he usually makes. He will learn to recognize the feeling.

Thanks for responding. The thing is he doesn't have a regular time that he goes, so I have no idea how to anticipate it.

Sit him down a few times a day and hopefully he'll make number two one of those times. Try in the morning since many people make then.

Off topic but using “make” as a term to mean doing #2 is just so gross and where does it come from ?
