Making a honey cake for some one & want it to look pretty too.
Any ideas for a glaze/icing?
Something with coffee? & maybe a crunch on top ? (But not with nuts)

You can make a glaze of confectioners sugar and orange juice.
Or confectioners sugar with a splash of coffee and a splash of oil.
Or 1 cup confectioners sugar, 2 Tbsp honey, 2 Tbsp parve milk.
Or instead of the milk, dissolve some coffee granules in 2 Tbsp boiling water.

these sound really good- for the coffee one why do you need a splash of oil? asking bec the coffee one sounds really good but don't understand why it needs oil? Also would you use 1 cup of confectioner's sugar for each of these recipes? TIA!!
