Fidelis is more widely accepted by doctors in my area. Check with all your doctors to see if they accept Healthfirst.

the doctors I want aren't on either plan. But I guess I want which ever has more or better doctors.

Healthfirst approves medications and surgeries much easier. We've had real difficulties with Fidelis

I had similar experiences with both - we got approval for what we requested within a reasonable time frame. It wasn't surgery, though, b"h. We ended up switching from Healthfirst to Fidelis because the PCP and 2 specialists we use regularly weren't accepting Healthfirst, but were able to take Fidelis.

ETA approval with healthfirst took 2.5-3 weeks, and once we switched to Fidelis, approval for the same exact thing took less than a week. It also wasn't the silver plan, but a different metal level plan (same level for both).

begonia and tangerine, you both had opposite experiences. Who else wants to be the tie breaker?
