I need to get smoke detectors that I can put up without drilling.

I googled and doesn't seem plug in one's really exist.

Does anyone use anything like this?

This should be a decent one and it has a 10 year battery.
And just use double sided tape to put up?
Not sure why you can’t use a drill? If you can’t make damage or just don’t have one?

3M brand double sided sticky tape, the type with the foam in the middle. That stuff sticks FOREVER.
