I just finished "Even There Even Now" I could not put it down I was glued
Its so so emotional I was crying
750 pages
Its about 2 families one person sick physically and one person sick mentally but its written so well you get so involved with the story

Did you feel that the book was translated from Hebrew?
I started reading it and I it's a bit hard to follow

I never read books translated from Hebrew. I feel like they are stuck in the Israeli mindset and the characters talk in a stilted, non conversational English.
I do like the English translations of M Kenan and Ruti Kepler's books. Ruti Kepler just came out with another book, All I Ask. I'm looking forward to reading it over Sukkos.

I brought it to read over Yom tov in my free time (okay okay. I know I’m supposed to sleep while my baby sleeps!) and I LOVED IT. I could not put it down. I see she has more in Hebrew, really wish I could read them all!
I didn’t find it hard to follow personally.
