I don’t know what to Google!
Anyone remember those kits with a bunch of large square colored papers, and you folded na cut them and put the cut parts through the other, larger colored papers? The final product was something like this https://www.shopeichlers.com/p.....44388 but the smaller edges kinda got woven through the larger papers?
Alternatively, I’m looking to buy any sukkah decorating craft kit for DD8. We already have lots of chains, any other ideas welcome! Thanks!

I do remember those kits!!
Just found one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....5570e
Unless she has amazing spatial/ fine motor skills Sukkah stars are probably above her skill level. This one says 10 and up but I doubt an average 10 year old can do it.

Thank you! It’s $25, wow! I seem to remember doing them around 8, but maybe I was older…
Now if I wanted to simply buy large colored paper and show her how to do it, without buying a kit, what would I Google? I can’t image this is a Jewish invention, but I don’t know what it’s called!

Buy shiny paper. Cut squares, each one about 2-3 inches smaller. Fold into triangles.
Cut with shape scissors on the folded line.

We print a bunch of sukkos scenes, cut, color and then glue onto pretty metallic paper for the base/border. Laminate. Hole punch. Tie with satin ribbons.

We used to make stars out of large shiny paper. Before the kits were invented. It brings back so many memories
