I am looking for a pizza shop in Queens (I will be visiting the Ohel) with a good Hechsher. Need name or number.
Title changed, post edited. If you have any concerns, please PM me. -Crayon210

Go to www.shamash.org and look through the Queens listings. Unless I'm totally mistaken, there's nothing close to the Ohel. It's not exactly in a Jewish neighborhood. Remember, it's a cemetary.

There is certainly nothing in walking distance. The closest neighborhood, I think is Cedarhurst (five towns) which is about ten minutes away - many eating establishments along Central Avenue.

I think queens is the closest location as well ... either way a drive ... bring s/t with you to tide you over till you get to a location you are familiar with ... especially if you are headed back to brooklyn ...

Ohel cookies.
They have cookies, drinking water, coffee, and tea, for those who haven't eaten before going to the Ohel.
They have a snack machine but I'm not sure when they fill it.
I have no idea what's around there, but I don't think you have to bring snacks with you until you get to a pizza shop.

while cookies and tea are nice ... some people need real food - so by snacks I mean fruit - yogurt - something more substantial than the cookies & tea ...
