Is it the norm for one babysitter/nanny to watch a few babies with no assistant?
What if she needs to leave the room or if there’s an emergency chv?

Yes, many sitters take 4 babies.
When I'm home by myself with 3 toddlers I also don't have an assistant.....

I also have a couple of little kids but my 3 year old and 2 year old can walk…
Is it a real thing to be nervous about when sending a baby out, or just hope for the best?

In a real emergency, it doesn't help that toddlers can walk....
It's very normal to be nervous when sending a baby out, who isn't nervous? Do your research and hope for the best.
