I always find these responses fascinating!

I had o it traditional meal of a bagel and cream
Cheese, and a pastry (1/2 a chocolate chip scone) Later I had some leftover ice cream
Cake from my baby’s birthday a few days ago. Drinking too much will keep me in the bathroom all night so im mindful of that

Later (dh came home like 2.5 hrs after I broke my fast) Had a meal:
2 slices challa
1 slice salmon
1 T each of 4 diff dips
1 plate of veggie soup
1 slice of roast beef
scoop of rice

OMG thats alot Can't Believe It

I'm always amazed how people eat so little after a fast!
I had 3 cups oj
2 bowls potato soup
3 chunks garlic bread
2 pieces milchig noodle kugel
Tons of water

Lol, and I'm always amazed at how people can eat so much!
I had my usual - a bagel and coffee.
Later I noshed on some pretzels and had a chocolate chip stick.
I tried to drink as much fluid as I could to rehydrate.
I literally couldn't eat more than that. The fast shrinks my stomach.

Why do do many have cake/muffin/cookie?
Start with water and a fruit.
We had challah/bread, some had it with honey, others with avocado salad or egg salad. Chicken and rice from the seuda hamafsekes.
Peaches and pears.

I eat what I like. I’m not a huge fruit fan. Pastries are what I like And if post fast is not a time to treat yourself then when is?

Cake and tea.
Then a little later I washed for a seuda as is our minhag, and had some chicken soup and a small piece of kugel (couldn't eat any more).

For me, a light cookie or pastry is easier to digest on an empty stomach than a fruit. Eating fruit right away would make my stomach hurt.

Powerade and some kokosh cake.

For everyone else, there were bagels, cream cheese, lox, tuna, scrambled eggs, cut vegetables and cheese danish. I forgot to serve the melon.
