Any gift ideas other than food, drinks, or deserts in honor of our dear son-in-law's ushpizin.
We treasure him dearly.

We will be joining them for that specific meal.
She is stocked with foods and deserts for his ushpizin.

We want to surprise him with a gift that is appropriate for this occasion.

If you're in town order from one of the bakeries or ice cream places that do special shpizin cakes.

I appreciate your response though it wasn't what I was asking for.
I am well aware of the ushpizin cakes.

I specifically mentioned that I don't want any "food" "desert" "drinks" ideas.
We have plenty cakes and ice creams for his ushpizin.

I don’t think there’s any gift specific appropriate for the name “yitzchok” if you don’t want some kind of food decorated with that name.
How about just any gift for him for the Yom tov table.
Challah board, challah cover, challah knife, lucite benchers set, salt and pepper holder, zemiros, etc.

I was actually thinking about the items you mentioned but they have it all.
That is why I am having a difficult time with gift ideas.
If I don't come up with an idea I might end up with an ushpizin cake or miniatures even though I know it's a waste...

I know you mentioned there will be tons of food, if he likes meat maybe a meat charcuterie board would be nice. It’s different than cake and miniatures.

Or maybe let him know that you are making a tzedaka donation in his zechus in honor of his ushpizin.

This is a nice idea.
Or a nice crystal wine bottle with matching glasses if he goes for wine.

They’re selling leather lulav covers... other things that might be nice are a nice whiskey sold in a fancy box only if they’re into that, do they have a bencher set with the last name embroidered on it? A new sefer?

I already gave them a crystal/silver wine set for their anniversary several years ago.
Great idea though. Thanks

Maybe you can get him a Sefer that writes about Akeidas Yitzchak or is authored by someone with his namesake Yitzchak

The Zohar explains that the Sukkah generates such an intense concentration of spiritual energy, that the divine presence actually manifests itself there in a similar way to Gan Eden (Zohar - Emor 103a).

During Sukkos the souls of the seven great leaders – Avraham, Yitzchok, Yaakov, Moshe, Aaron, Yosef, and Dovid – actually leave Gan Eden to partake in the divine light of the earthly Sukkot.

These guests come to visit each Sukkah (Abraham the first night, Yitzchok the second,
etc).

Many people who share the name of that night's Ushpizen guest, serve something special for dessert, or make a small Ushpizen party after the meal.

Have you seen such posters used as Sukkah decorations?

A beautiful rack or lamb for dinner!

It is definitely not a regular meal as at it’s price point it clearly a And I don’t know what says Yitzchak more than lamb.

(I imagine he already has a shofar)
