I am making an upsherin for my only boy I want to do something nice but don’t want to spend a lot thinking of maybe doing like a just salads cakes cookies and such with party bags. The main event being his hair cut . And maybe doing some memory keepsake for him. Any thoughts ideas does this sound ok

Where are you located? I can give you some leads if you're in Monsey.
I did a number 3 cookie cake.
I had a balloon arch which I ordered on Etsy, did it myself and it was beautiful.
Did some salads, cookies, miniatures.
Some centerpieces from a Gemach
Goodie bags/peklech I ordered on Amazon and printed a sticker.
The whole thing cost me under$500
