Any recommendations for financial advisors that can help us with investing?
Very little money... but we're putting away about $5k a year in savings for marrying off, and I just read that if you just save the money and don't invest it, it actually depreciates and you're left with less than you started out with.
So I need someone who can help me and set it up so that my savings go into the investment every year (or month) and I can take it all out in about 15 years.

You can do it all by yourself. No need to pay a middleman for a small amount of savings.
Open a Charles Schwab account.
Set up recurring transfers and begin with a low risk index fund such as SPY and based on its long history, it averages 10% gains annually.
No fees

She means that there are mutual funds that follow the S&P 500 - which mean they invest in the same stocks as the S&P.
