Im looking for Maxi Skirts, for all year round or for fall, that are NOT PULL ON- slinky type, and have a style, the straighter the better.
TIA

Straight maxi skirts are a terrible idea, even if you're skinny as a board. How are you going to walk, or were you planning on reclining on a divan like an odalisque? Or wearing a skirt with a slit up to your pupick? You need some flare to give your limbs room to do what they were meant to do, which is propel you from place to place. A moderate A-line works; a straight skirt doesn't. And what do you mean "with a style"? What kind of style? tailored and professional? Frilly and flirty (and juvenile)? "country miss"?

^^^
A truly straight, long, non-stretchy skirt will hobble your stride, and make if difficult to get into a car or bus, let alone walk up stairs.
This is about as straight as you can go. https://www.neimanmarcus.com/p.....aw.ds

Not OP, but I had in mind a-line as opposed to fuller with a gathered waist and in a thin fabric. Those are not always so flattering for bigger sizes- a slightly thicker fabric, without extra fabric, often looks better on me (in short as well as long). A thicker pleated skirt often works well too.
The idea is that it’s not tight and unflattering, but it’s straight enough not to add extra bulk.
“With style” can mean buttons, a textured fabric, or a print like plaid or houndstooth.

Youre all correct, I didnt mean totally straight. I meant fishtail/mermaid/trumpet style for necessary movement.
Ive been searching all over and all I see is pleats and more pleats which makes me look way too bottom-heavy because the pleats all start at the waist.

Thanks but these dont seem to reach the floor, or close to it.
Id love this style and length (but not in denim, and I dont need all that busy looking stitching):

I think that skirt cut is called a "fit and flare". Maybe try searching fit and flare maxi skirts?

Probably right.
Id also consider a maxi dress that doesnt loo maternity. Most of them are empire/high waisted now.

I think you're looking for a black chino maxi skirt.
They're usually available in casual stores before the summer.
