Yes, if anything I think the girls have a harder schedule. The boys come home and that's it; they're free. No homework. They ate supper, they davened.... so it's all downtime from there.

Theres no free lunch

Like you said frum life is expensive

Anyone I ever spoke to who went to such a school , had a very rough time in college or business
They would of been better off just getting the homework in hs

Of course they eat. All 3 meals. Lots of breaks with sports.

It’s not any diff then my brothers almost 20 yrs ago in Ner Yisroel or Rabbi Shlangers in Baltimore.

Yes they eat home-cooked meals lovingly provided by the cook

My boys like snacks when they come home- chips and salsa or msg soup cups. They read a little, talk a little, and shower and bed by 11/11:30.
Up in the morning at 6:45.

Um, what????

You do realize that Lakewood is no longer the tiny poor derfel that it was just some 20 years ago, right?

I mean, the average price range of homes being sold in Lakewood (not Manchester!) is creeping up to $1 million dollars. That's not exactly the hallmark of a poor community, is it? Can I give you a tour of the nicer side of town?

(Thankfully we live in a country that has free choice, and I can send my sons wherever I want to send them, thankyouverymuch.)

How much free time? Why not just make the day shorter then?

Also do the schools serve dinner if they get home so late?

2 hrs, 1/2 hr, 1 hr beaks.
And they do a lot of chavrusah learning (at least 3 seders) so it’s not like they are just sitting and listening to lectures all day.
