Pls help my iPhone :(

My phone took a little swim Sad

Right now, the screen has lines across it. I stuck it into a bowl of rice.
I have a bunch of questions:
1. Any tips for fixing it?
2. It's an iPhone - if I go to the apple store could they fix my phone or get my information off it? I don't think it was properly backed up on icloud.
3. My business relies on clients calling my personal phone #. What should I do until it's fixed? I need a way for people to reach me. Should I just buy a new phone? Is there a way to get a temporary phone and port my #?

FWIW a lot of times my phone got wet and survived. It had lines across it for a few hours but started working again.

If the screen is the only casualty (which is likely), if you can unlock it without seeing the screen properly you can transfer everything to a new iPhone even without iCloud.

You can probably just pull out the sim card and put it into another phone to use temporarily. If it doesn't work call your carrier it may be a setting on their end (that it's intended for an iPhone).
