Our previous bookcase was from Amazon, and several of the shelves were caving in from the weight of the seforim.

We want something that's not crazy expensive (preferably not over $500) that will be able to sustain the weight of seforim. The biggest seforim we have are the Shas Vilna HaChadash, medium sized.

We got the slim Billy bookcases from Ikea. Since each shelf is short it doesn't sag

We have these (keep the gemaras on the bottom of the top section so there's more reinforcement)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....1ae34

They're not so tall, which is kind of a waste of space, and hopefully one day we'll get something else, but for now they look nice and do the trick.

We've had them for about 5 years and they're in good condition.

Ordered from a Jewish furniture store. I needed real wood shelves not the fake stuff to support the weight of the sefarim. Plus they delivered and assembled.

That's also kind of narrow, no?

We had ordered previously from Amazon, similar type of product, and it totally caved.

Prestige furniture. I never stepped foot into the store. The guy texted me different pictures of different models.

Originally I ordered a cheaper model that was discontinued, but it was defective. They took it back and I went for a slightly more expensive model that was not discontinued and I'm very happy with it . It's sturdy and a gorgeous piece of furniture. They were mentsclich to deal with despite the original issue.

Also love billy from Ikea. Tried a few others, and none held up like these. It's worth trekking out to the nearest Ikea and just getting everything yourself. Their delivery prices are ridiculous anyway.

They have been out of stock for the last few months! I'm waiting for it!
