When do you start to give your baby/toddler pretzels?

When they can chew well. I start with the long thin sticks or the very large thin regular shape ones. I don't give the small ones until much older because they are harder chew and they swell up.

So it's not based on age? What's approximate age? Like would you give a child under 2? Under 15 months?

My 12 month old has 9 teeth and can eat pretzels. My friend gave pretzel rods to her 10 month old who had no teeth and just gnawed it
