Bracha Jaffe is AMAZING and her original songs are so professional and not "Jewish-y." They are true masterpieces! And this is coming from someone with a lot of musical training and background. She's literally living my dream Wink

Who else is good?

(These are my daughters choices but I can definitely feel most of them)
Shaindy plotzker
Bracha Jaffe
Devorah Schwartz
Chaya kogan

That’s who I can think of off the top of my head. If I remember more, I’ll post them.

This is my current favorite.

I love that it speaks openly about the pain so many of us experience on our journey through life, while still being poetic and open-ended. And for a change, it is celebrating the resilience of us ordinary people, not necessarily the Jewish people as a whole which is standard in frum music... And it does so honestly, without making us feel guilty for those moments when we found it too hard to daven or find spiritual solace.

It's the first frum song that touched me this deeply.

Same. It's on repeat in my house these days. I loved watching the behind the scenes where she talks about the video production and I felt her when she broke down when talking about living her dream and getting to where she is now.

Bracha Jaffe's This One is also on repeat by me! Devorah Shwartz has a gorgeous & emotional song called Chana's Song, written & composed by Chayala Neuhous also.
Did anyone mention Dobby Baum? She has a few really nice, meaningful songs, and she also has a bunch of fun songs. One's called Rejuvinate, I love to put it on in the mornings when I wake up my kids for school! You cld find all of these on youtube.
