Why is that your goal? Either go down in person and show him you were charged twice or just dispute the charge.

Maybe he thought the Amex wouldn't go through for him. He charged it by mistake and then realized it's Amex and thought he can't process Amex.

There was no need to say location.
Why did you give him the amex card if he said he doesn't accept. He noticed after he charged?

I was the stupid one, it was 2 different charges.
