Hello everyone.
So it's been more than a few years we don't have a wedding in the immediate family and , being a busy mother, I never go out on shabbas and Yom tov. Which means I only wear robes.
I'm looking for clothing for Sheva brochos, shabbos and vochen. I love the styles in jewish stores, however, I can't afford it. I'm size large, hourglass figure.
Any links would be appreciated.
My relatives told me that Sheva brooches clothing are dressier? Any advice would be appreciated.

How old are you? What current styles do you like? What’s your budget?

Happy to help. Is this for your wedding or a daughter's wedding?

35.
I like most things I see in the stores. But I have given birth 8 times, no everything looks good on me. No bubble sleeves. Pleated might be too young as well.

I love this. But not for $200.
Maybe no more than $100 per outfit.
I don’t even know how many outfits I need.

I like leather https://shopblew.com/products/co234
But I wouldn’t wear it together.

I don’t know.
You see? I’m not fashion oriented at all.

I think it can work. Do you live in town?

Instead of budgeting per outfit, try to get a sense of how much you want to spend overall. Let’s say you wanted 4 outfits total for around 400$. You can get that beautiful first set, a pretty black skirt and a few tops.

Estis in monsey might have more things that have a better fit and you can be upfront about budget. I’m thinking of a set I saw fro 110+ a 90$ skirt and some tops.

One of the benefits of a nice up to date black skirt is that then you can buy one or two tops from either HM or Zara and wear it with that as well. But a good black skirt is needed.

(would that be enough? Do you have anything at all u can wear?)

Everyone dresses more casual now- a black skirt and dressy tops could work for a weekday sheva brochos and shalashudes. A black fancier dress could be for Friday night. Companies such as asos, Zara, SheIn have tznius dresses for cheap.
Mazal tov to your sister. Enjoy the simcha!

You could wear shabbos or dressy casual clothes to a Sheva brachos. I think only a kallah dresses up more than that.

If you live in Monsey you can try Sareka. I would also tell you to try Macy's, H&M and Zara

Mazel tov! This is so exciting.

You didn't mention where you live. That being said, I think that it probably makes the most sense for you to go and shop in person, as opposed to looking for online links.

It's easy to shop online for kids, but for ladies it is much more difficult to shop online (speaking for myself but I'm sure this is common). Like you can order seven dresses and hope that one of them fits. So the bottom line is, that it would be better to shop in person. You don't need very fancy outfits, just nice regular shabbos.

Avoid dresses if you’ve had eight kids. (I can’t wear them either.)

“Parallel” skirts are ridiculously overpriced but a good basic that you can dress up or down, so it won’t be like you’re buying something that will just sit in your closet after sheva brachos. They’re a sweater knit skirt with flat top and pleated bottom, classy looking. People ages teen through middle aged are wearing them so no worries about it being too young. Warning though, they do snag if you’re not careful.

You could get a couple of dressy sweaters and wear them with a nice skirt and nice shoes.

Since you like leather -- this is faux leather, but cute and inexpensive.

A skirt like this is dressy enough for sheva brachas.

You can never go wrong with a simple pencil skirt, dressed up with a nice top
