Mexican theme
Israeli theme (assuming not in Israel)

When is the sheva brachos taking place? Sometimes time of year can help with the theme.

Downton Abbey theme... I would LOVE to do that. Everyone in 20s clothing, some jazz and nice tableware and you are the butler/maid

We did a heart theme you can find placemats online shaped like a heart
We played a game that the gust and bride and groom played I thought it was a little bit embarrassing most Sheba brachas have no theme

To me, a theme like these sound very generic, like you are trying to hard because you don’t know the bride and groom.

If, they have something in common-ie, they both love playing basketball, or both have a chocolate addiction (like me) -you can do that as a theme. Anything else I think is contrite and covering for something missing.

My sister got married on December 23rd, and their friends made a themed Sheva Brachos on December 25th. Everyone wore red and white, and they served a traditional xmas dinner, with appropriately themed decorations. It wouldn't have suited me, but their friends started planning it as soon as they announced the wedding date, and they all loved it.

That one really worked, but themes often seem a bit forced. If you really want a theme, a culinary one often flows easily.

I can't think of a sadder way of celebrating a Jewish marriage, than having an X-mas dinner.

My niece got married on Chanukah a couple of years ago. We did a beautiful setup with crushed velvet blue tablecloths and silver place settings. We scattered Chanukah paraphernalia around (silver chocolate coins, chanukah confetti, etc...) It was a combination elegant and fun. We served an upscale dairy menu.
