*HEARTBREAKING NEWS: U.K. Government Murders Two-Year-Old Alta Fixler A”H*

YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of two-year-old Alta Fixler A”H.

All of those following the plight of Alta in Manchester know that every legal angle was exhausted to prevent the U.K. Government from pulling the plug on her. Sadly, that was done on Monday evening. A judge had ordered her to be taken off all machines by today.

On Monday, the British Government murdered Alta Fixler A”H.

So painful I can't fathom the pain these parents must have gone through this year. To watch someone kill their own precious daughter. I just can't...

BDE. May alta go up to the kisei hakovod and beg for mashiach and not take no for an answer. Her parents are remarkable role models.

Bde. Terrible that the government has such control to be able to do this to an innocent little girl. Her family should have a nechama.

I know this won't be a popular opinion, but BH this poor little girl's suffering is over.
I agree that the government overstepped to an absolutely terrifying degree. In fact, I'd be scared to live in England. You don't know what they might decide is legal next.

Just because she was not well, it does not mean that she was suffering.

"Not well" might be the understatement of the century.

Why are you trying to pick a fight? Can this thread please stay respectful? For Alta's sake at least?

while I won't say I completely disagree with your first point it's completely besides the point. It's absolutely horrendous and unfathomable that a supposedly democratic government forced itself upon its citizens with complete disregard to religious and parental rights. I can't imagine the pain of her parents. The feeling of helplessness to just literally watch your child getting killed because of some random judge's decision. Which is basically your second point and what's really relevant.....

To me the tragedy is
A - that she got sick and needed life support
B - that a government is willing to stop life support despite options to transfer. That is horrific. Only Hashem gets to decide who will live and who will die.
But I was surprised by the vehemence that this case has taken. There are so many problems with today's healthcare and governments. Is it just that this was a clear-cut case of ending a live unnecessarily?

Israel was ready to take her, the USA was ready to take her. They was no reason why the UK couldn't release her to try other treatments in one of the above countries. Pure evil. May Hashem avenge her blood and the tears and pain of her parents, family, community and all of Klal Yisroel.

They removed life support and she was able to breathe on her own for 90 minutes.

Hashem should avenge her death on all those who were involved in her murder.
