Amazon has a good selection. I would recommend making sure to put it into a cover for two reasons- you will need to wash it less frequently, and it won’t make a “crinkling” noise when you move around.

I like the lower end one from D'rose Linen. They recommended it for the kids room. But it's so cozy that I bought it for our room too and we've been enjoying it for a long time.

Are they all year round blankets?

They have a few different options. I forgot which one we found to be “just right.”

I got mine for about $20 on sale (a regular sale price, the kind that they make it sound like a metzia but it happens a few times a year so nobody should pay the "original" price) at one of the common department stores - maybe JC Penney? They are soft, comfortable, and warm. Really warm, so if the weather is fine we use lighter blankets - these are what we use when we want to be warm. But they're great and the price was so right.

He told me to get the $45.00 blanket or the one for $80.00
He claims the $80.00 downright comforter is softer.
