New to Lakewood I would like to go to the Madison Mikvah, I saw some threads that it’s not so clean and not great condition, Is this true?

I was there recently and sent upstairs. The room was beautiful and new. (In the past I found the upstairs old and spooky)
Was the downstairs redone too?

I haven’t been there in 2 years but used it 15 yrs prior. I never had a problem with it. It wasn’t luxurious snd new but was clean and functional.
Upstairs was old and dated. Very 80s style retro. Downstairs was newer.
New Hampshire is much newer and luxuries so compared to that it’s old. Couldn’t compare.
I don’t know anything about the renovations.

They just redone the upstairs, the down stairs are not falling apart or unclean, you could ask if they could send you upstairs when you come.

There is only an option to schedule for downstairs. When you get there ask for a mew room. I’ve never had an issue.
As an aside, they also redid some rooms downstairs.
