Looking to hear from Lamaze instructors and/or lactation consultants, specifically in Israel. I just made Aliyah and I have the opportunity to take a Lamaze course in order to be certified and I need to make a decision soon because the deadline is approaching. My problem is that currently both me and my husband aren't working (just made Aliyah) and the course costs money. The good thing is that it's only for a month and it's virtual. I've also always been interested in becoming a lactation consultant but I've heard it's hard to be one if you're not a nurse. So my question is...is it worth a try? Of course, I'm pretty sure this will have to be something on the side because it takes time to have clients and I'd have to also study a little bit of marketing/business. My hebrew is ok but I feel more comfortable teaching in English so then I'd mainly have to target English speaking moms.
