Does it help? Is it worth the effort? I don't know much about them or maintaining them or which one to get. If anyone has any advice. Thank you so much.

I use a humidifier every time my child so much as has a sniffle and it really works. I have the CVS brand

We use it for my husband's allergies. Works wonders! I'm actually looking into getting a whole house humidifier.
