I just became a grandmother for the first time BH, and am having so much trouble finding a name for myself. I don't resonate with Bubby, that's my mother, or grandma, or Savta. What else is there? I looked up online and all the cute grandmother names are too kinky sounding. Any suggestions? Help 
(I posted here because grandmothers is apparently a private group and didn't know where else to put it)

Hilarious video! Thank you for sharing. That's exactly what I'm going through. Each and every name resonates some negative connotation for me. They all sound really old, or just not fitting for me. Any more suggestions? I would do Mimi but it really has nothing to do with me, my name starts with an s

I know someone who went with “Gigi”
Like when your kid in laws first call you by your new name it can take time to get used to this one too whatever you choose.

Also with bubbie it’s great cause people will tell you that you look way too young to be a bubbie  yes you can go with Bubz as well
And know some who went with “jeema” for G-ma
And someone who went with “Grand”

You can also think ahead and ask yourself what name do you want them to call out when you pick up at playgroup/school: “zeeskeit your bubbles is here to pick you up”
