We moved a few months ago to a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom for $2500. We really did not want to spend that much and looked for a few months, but could not find anything cheaper. I honestly think you should expect it will be more than $2500

Prices did not go down. All the other apartments we looked at were 2700-3000+. Not sure how we got lucky and found a 3 bedroom for 2500

We got 3 bdrm 1 bath for $2600 in the heart of midwood

We moved out of 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom in a great location 7 years ago. Rent when we left was $1700 (because we had a long term lease) and I know he upped it $2200 for the next tenant. And prices have only gone up.
