It seems that the modern style "crystal" chandeliers that Ive seen lately, at all price points, dont sparkle. Theyre just glassy looking.
If you switched to a modern "crystal" chandelier, do you miss the multicolor sparkles of your old chandelier?
Are there sparkly modern chandeliers that Im not aware of?

I find that the yellow lights in the chandeliers sparkle more thab white light and most modern ones are white.
See if you can change the bulbs

I think you're missing the iridescent look. Not everybody likes that.

Can anyone provide linjs to modern chandeliers that do sparkle?
Ive changed bulbs on a modern chandelier and the light looks like a different color but the "crystal" doesnt sparkle. It looks like glass or lucite.

I totally get u! I think it’s the way the crystals are cut. I’ve been decorating my house and cannot stand the sameness in every furniture/accessory store. So I’ve been shopping vintage and 2nd hand shops. There are plenty of chandeliers in those shops

I think the modern chandeliers are not made w lead crystal, theyre made w plain old glass.
There are loads of real sparkly (possibly lead) crystal chandeliers out there, but the problem is, the old chandeliers are old styles.
