Where do you live? It depends on location.

A degree n my makes no zero difference to me. I’m in the five towns and pay 8$ for a dropoff off with 4-5 kids. I would not pay more than that.

Anywhere btwn $6-8/hour is normal ($6 being cheap). I live in Monsey and pay $6 but that is cheaper, most are $7/8.

Agree with this. If the babysitter wanted to use her credits/degree, she would not be a private babysitter. She would open her own daycare (don't need a degree for that either) or work in an early childhood center where you need a degree. If she is using this excuse on you, don't buy into it.

I paid $15/hr plus ten holidays to my ft in-home sitter. I used her for many years and many kids; I think I paid her $9/hr when she started.
