Every time you switch insurance companies via the marketplace do you have to attest to your income and do you run the possibility Of having to provide documents to confirm your income just for changing insurance companies?
Cuz we are with uhc and schools ( they own the therapy agency and get $ for providing therapy) therapist don’t have a contract with them. For Whatever reason school doesn’t want to go through the board of Ed (either because They get paid more from insurance or they’ve had conflict of interest issues with the board of Ed in the past by providing therapy to their own students). Currently we get our CHP subsidized because of a low income hear from corona. If we are forced to provide new documentation of income we will lose the subsidy and pay full premium 300/ kid vs 45 per kid now which I’m not ready to pay just so the school principal could make money.

You shouldn’t have to if you aren’t due for a renewal. Just call NY state of health and ask to switch your insurance provider.
