N'kadeish, by MBC. I liked that it's a plural goal of serving Hashem- we were officially "we" in this, our life goal.

I wanted birchas habayis, but when the person I sent to the band told them that, they said they never heard of it (????). So that person just picked a song they liked, and I had no idea.
As I stepped out to walk to the chuppa, it dimly registered in my mind "hey that's not my song" but I didnt really pay attention to what it was...
I only heard the story at shabbos sheva brachos, and when I heard what song it had been I was retroactively so dissapointed...it was by a singer I really didn't like, a song that I had no particular love for, and didn't really connect to the words. I was so upset the person I sent didnt come back and ask me for my backup, they knew I had had a list of possibilities!

No idea - I had DH pick something. I was too stressed to pick a song.
I think they didn't even play the song DH picked either....

Elokai Neshoma from Dedi
Loved that song.
The band messed it up big time and I remember being really annoyed in the middle of walking down. It was jarring.

we had a 1 man band (someone who was new to the 1 man band scene). I really didn't care what song. I was just happy that we were able to get married and it wasn't going to put my parents and me and my husband in debt as there was no money. I didn't pick a band, I didn't pick any songs. It wasn't important to me

I remember having picked out a Disney song, (don't remember which) then the week before, his uncle who was mesader kedushin and this was the first time I was meeting him says "no Disney" and I was stressed out trying to find something, don't even remember what I picked in the end...I think it was off the aspaklaria kumah CD. But I remember being really annoyed that something I thought was set, was now a stresser.

Sorry not that familiar with Jewish music stars. Who’s MBC?

I probably wouldn't either remember, but chabad generally does daled bavos, so that's what it was for us.

We call it "the alter rebbe's niggun", but most of the world refers to it as daled bavos.
Assuming you're referring to the lubavitcher Rebbe, then you say Rebbe.

Zechor Davar L'avdecha... Zos nechamasi b'anyi... zeidim helitzuni ad me'od, miTorascha lo natisi...
It was very meaningful to me. I got married older, after going through many struggles. I worked very hard at not losing my madreigos and my she'ifos throughout the challenging times... I tried to turn to Hashem and the Torah with all my pain.
This song meant a lot to me.
I didn't know if anyone besides me understood the significance, but my friend/boss told me that when she heard the opening bars and saw me coming, she started crying. She got it.
