My kids are bored on most Sundays, especially Sundays during the school year, and I live in NY. I'm referring to kids who are too young for Sunday school as well as to girls who don't have Sunday school. My older boys are in school on Sundays.

Maybe if we had more outdoor space, and weather was nicer, it would make a difference. That's why I'm asking others. What do your kids do on Sundays and where do you live?

They do projects at home, invite a friend over, go to a friend, some go to art or gymnastics clubs for an hour.
Live in Passaic.

We live in Manhattan. No personal outdoor space but the city is our oyster. We plan family fun days when we can. There no shortage of fun things to do! Some Sundays are chores and errands but we usually try to incorporate something just for fun. Mommy Poppins is a great resource.

My kids are still very little. But basic routine:
Morning playtime. Breakfast. I take 1 kid grocery shopping while husband plays/ does art projects/ etc with the rest. I make lunch. Feed everyone. Young ones take a nap. Big ones read. When naptimes over we video call grandparents. Then outside time- walk, park, backyard whatever (this may need to change when it gets cold). Dinner, baths, bed.

I’m considering an urban air membership if we get too restless this winter.

Live in bklyn.
- bundle up for the warmest part of the day. And go to the park or for a walk. This makes such a difference for the kids. I really try to go outside everyday. Even for a short while. Till the weather really doesn't permit.
- crafts. Unfortunately that includes the messy ones. Beads, sequins, glue, paint you name it.
- baking (added points for decorating). Again prepare for clean up lol
- small errand- ill leave a few groceries out of my regular shopping, to go pick up on Sundays.
- dance party. Sometimes ill allow a video accompaniment but rare.
- puzzles
- 1/2. Short audio books

I used to invite my daughters friends to play at our house.

In summer I used to take the girls on trips to beach and a few rides at Astroland Amusement Park.

Sometimes I got free tickets to the aquarium.
