Hi,

Any thoughts on this brand? Functionality and cuteness-wise?

I'm considering getting one of these two pairs for my one-year-old who's kind of thinking about walking but isn't yet, but I want something that she can wear now that it's starting to get colder (she's been mostly barefoot as long as it was warm where we live which is coming to a close now).

I had this brand for my son but that was a few years ago and it was great, closest thing to being barefoot as far as softness and grip but warm for the winter, but wondering if that's still the way it is, or maybe something better has since come out.

It says on the website to size down. If her foot is 4 1/10 inches long, that means we go down to a size 1--for size 6 weeks to 6 months. Does that make sense? I know that she does in general have small feet.

Also I'm looking at these two and I like the first one better but I wonder if it's meant to be more of a summer style shoe and we'll be happier (for winter with darker clothes, velvets etc.) we'll be happier with the second. I welcome any thoughts or recommendations, thank you!

Honestly? I’ve been advised not to buy shoes till they’re walking, that it’s best for them to practice in bare feet so they can feel the ground beneath them. If the concern is that their feel are cold in the stroller with just socks, I use a bundle me. I personally wouldn’t spend $60 on baby shoes no matter what, certainly not on ones that aren’t recommended to be worn in the first place.

Perhaps others will chime in with differing opinions

I wouldn’t buy shoes of any type.

I use these type, I buy it locally.

It’s warm and has good grippers so they don’t fall.
