Hi, ftm here
I send to a babysitter in crown heights
what is a nice amount to give for chanukah gift?
I dont like giving things a person wont use- mugs, pens, cups, books... everyone prefers cash!
I would give cash in an envelope with a nice card

Does your child have one morah or an assistant also? Is she there part time or full time? By me I was told around $40-50 for full time for a kid under 2, $20-25 for a part time kid if in a small group. If there are more than 6 kids, I would cap at $18.

no assistant

Same boat. Live in Monsey. 8 babies, teacher and assistant. Is a gift certificate nice then cash? Curious

cash is always best
im a therapist and prefer cash
gift certificates are annoying- have to find the time to use them, find a sitter so I can go out etc
everyone prefers the benjamins !

I am paying $7 an hour for babysitting around 9-3. He takes a good nap every day except Friday. Like 2.5-3 hours most days. I do want to give a bonus..... guess I'll see what money is left. Lol Brooklyn

I think im going to give $50
I only send 4x a week
