We’re ashkenazic through and through but I’m just wondering; after eating 10 salads how do you have room for other food?

Carrot salad with pineapples
Shred carrots
add little pineapple bits
add lemon, salt pepper
mixed salad
finely dice
tomatoes
cucumber
black olives
bell pepper
green onions
mix
add lemon juice, salt, pepper (olive oil)

I generally serve 5-6 "tapas" (including salads, guacamole, chumus) at the beginning of every shabbos meal, to go with fish and challah
No problem to eat afterwards.
and I generally serve 1-2 additional salads with the main course

as of now its just me and dh and small baby so I serve 8-10 salatim and then moroccan fish and were good
my mil does the same
shabbos day I do salatim and meat + rice, cholent, chicken and rice etc...
