For those of you who have kids who leave the house in the morning and don't get home until 9:30/10 at night.
Do you spend time with them shmoozing with them when they get home?
If yes, how do you manage that so late, when you're tired?
If not, when and how do you spend time with your teens?

How is different than speaking to your husband at that hour?
(Eta I don’t go to sleep at 9 or 10pm unless I’m sick or pregnant. Bedtime for me is after 11 usually)

This is actually a spinoff of the SAHM nap thread.
One amother said she's in bed before her big kids get home, they text her.
But you're right.
Im finding it challenging.
My son comes home at 10:15, my husband at 10:30. I want to sleep or say good night and spend parent only time, but my kid wants to talk to me about his day, and I want to listen because otherwise where's the relationship?

I don’t go to bed until 1/1:30 am. I am a walking zombie but B”H my kids and I have a great relationship. (Not recommending this for everyone)

I stay up for them and spend a few minutes chatting. Sometimes I have to do a 9:30 or 10:30pm carpool and then we have more chatting time in the car.
I am then up at 7:00 am to see them off and sometimes I have to drive them to Yeshiva in the mornings as well.
I between I am working so no naps for me.
