Please help me I'm new to this . What's a normal / average amount to spend on a chanuka gift for a 2 year old morah in ramat Eshkol . Any good ideas of what types of things people do ? Also when do I give the gift ? Erev chanuka like tomorrow ? Thank you for helping out a first time mom

Those teachers get younger every year 
Seriously, when dd taught, she got 50 shekel gift certificates, chocolates, house plants, framed letters from parents, all kinds of gifts. But your best bet is to ask a mom of older kids in the same school, or a teacher in another class, what presents are standard.
There's no set time for giving a gift, but the sooner the better.

If the gan remains open, give it when you like. If they are closed during Chanukah, give it today. (A chanukah kaytana might be tun by someone other than the gannenet, so don't count on that.)
