Anyone have a butternut squash kugel that is not gebrochts?

I never roast it, I peel, cut, boil, and mash with carrots and/or sweet potato with salt, pepper, and/or nutmeg and then bake to get a crusty finish. My kids don't like it, but me and my dh does.

Do you not roast it because you don't eat anything roasted at the seder, even vegetables?

What if you put water at the bottom of the pan, covered it, and sprinkle with some cinnamon and vanilla sugar? Is this roasting?

I dont want to roast bc im sick of roasting! its always how I make my veggies1! Smile
