What’s the going cash/gift card rate for a playgroup morah and assistant?

Also if assistant isn’t Jewish, do I tip now or by x-mas?

Not sure abt the rate yet, but I plan on tipping the non Jewish assistant now, when all other teachers are getting tips. It would be mean to leave her out, and wait a month.
