I’m looking for flexible shelving in laundry room…
Boaxel is what looks good for my needs, but wondering if it’s too junky??

If you ever used any closets successfully or not, please reply!

Or any alternative options that won’t break the bank Smile

I have wood. Sorry. Not sure which ones. I have a lot of items from Ikea in my home. Ikea is very cost effective and the quality is really fine typically, if you don't abuse the stuff. I feel like I get the best value for my money with Ikea with most things.

I used the planning tool to create a custom boaxel system in my basement. We've only had it about a year and a half but it's great and sturdy. The shelves are surprisingly heavy and you definitely need to mount the vertical rods directly into the studs so keep that in mind with your planning.

Yup, it's my main shelving unit downstairs and is holding a ton of stuff (heavy stuff, too). Some parts are in constant use, like I have a couple of shelves filled with games and puzzles that my kids are always grabbing and putting back, and some shelves and bins filled with art supplies that are constantly rifled through.

I don't know how well it will hold up on the surface if you're keeping liquid products on it like detergent and stain remover; I have a non ikea shelf in my laundry room for those supplies and the paint corroded from the chemicals in the liquids. But for baskets and clothing they'd be fine. They do seem a little shallow to hold laundry baskets imo, so maybe just check your measurements. Or maybe there are deeper shelves than the ones I have.

They are Very strong and sturdy. Life time warranty.
