I am thinking of moving to toms river and buying a house there. I wanted to know is the whole area there a Jewish community or only specific places ?

There are a few areas spread over a large part of it, it's not the whole area.

I’m not familiar with all the areas but some names I know off hand
Walden woods
Liberty village
Mackenzie
Tallymawr

There are TONSSSS more and every area has different crowds

There are some chasidish areas some litvish etc. I suggest you call a realtor who knows Toms River.

I don’t know where you are moving from but you should be aware that very often there are multiple non Jewish families on the block in Toms River. For some people coming from boro park or the center of Lakewood, this could be surprising.

I don't know the areas well but I can give you an address near something I like. The street would be riverwood drive. Is that a jewish area ?

Come take a drive through Toms River so you see what it’s about . It’s a huge mostly non Jewish township , that’s quite large and very spread out. There are neighborhoods with lots of frum people but you need a realtor to help you figure out where you’d be happy.

It's near a few areas mentioned here. I'm not sure how many jews live on that street but I do think there are a few there or on the streets leading off of it. It's walking distance to shuls.

As others said, a realtor could help you a lot with what areas to look at.
