Hi,

I'm working on signing up for medicaid. So far, there are no plans that all the drs we need take. So something's going to have to give, one way or another. I'm trying to figure some stuff out.

If you have a medicaid dentist you're happy with, can you please post his info and what medicaid plan you're on? (Pediatric and/or regular)

Do all NJ hospitals take all medicaid plans? Or not necessarily?

Can a parent and child be on different plans? Or everyone in the family has to be on the same one?

Are there any differences between plans besides for the drs on each plan? Would there be a reason to pick one plan over another one?

Anything else I should know?

I can only answer 2 of ur questions
1. Whole family has to be on the same plan
2. I use Shore Children's Dental Care as a pediatric dentist and have been happy. Other posters here disagee....
I have not found a decent reg dentist so I pay privately.

Dr figdor and Jackson pediatric dentistry take medicaid. Not sure exactly which plans but I'm on amerigroup. Dr yaffa walkin is good adult dentist also take medicaid. (Def amerigroup) and yes whole family has to be on same plan.

I’m on UHCP. Not sure if it’s still avail as an HMO.

Whole fam needs to be on the same plan

Every hospital accepts state insurance. Legally I’m pretty sure they have to.

I use encore dental of Jackson. Very happy
