Maybe her hobby is researching the family tree. Or she's making a collection of descendants.
To be honest, I would be more inclined to answer a question about my family background if there was at least a screen name there. It's not going to help anyone to learn that OP and amothers blue, green and yellow all claim descent.

I am looking for descendants because me as a grandchild am dreaming for a long time to do for this holy neshama . to give out and makeover his deep seforim from scratch to make it comprehendable which will be a major zechus that people will learn from his seforim. I already made inquiries and have top mechon ready to do the job. we just need sponsors and donors.
