Bottom sometimes (in freezer) gets icy/clear colored and top is creamy.
I don't use whip, only eggs and sugar and flavoring. What can I do to get an even mixture?
I've been told to freeze the container before use, but it hasn't really made a difference.

I put it into an aluminum pan. while I make the ice cream I put the freezer.
but the real key, I think, is to make sure your snow with the egg whites and sugar is really really stiff and then when you fold in the rest of the ingredients, don't mix it for too long.
