What services are out there for children with a ASD diagnosis outside of NYS?

Are you looking for services that are paid for by the board of education or that you get through your health insurance company? I live in Illinois there is a lot of support here for kids with special needs but its not free you choose a health insurance that covers the most amount of services and pay the copays etc.

I am in a non jewish facebook group of thousands of parents with kids with special needs in my area so I get a sense of what is out there. People seem to get the services they need but its not free like in NY. Even parents with their kids in the best public schools do out side therapy. You pay a copay until you reach your deductable.
