How can someone go about requesting OLD records (from the early 1950s) from the Israeli government regarding entry permit or visa which was given to someone who visited Israel at the time but has since been lost?
This is needed for a very specific purpose and hopefully sooner than later.
The person themselves or their next of kin would be requesting this feom the Israeli government.
If it matters this was coming from Europe.
Would misrad hapnim help with this? what about consulates outside Israel?
Can signed letter be sent to them, if so to whom?
Thanks!!

I'm very new here, but from what I've seen so far, I would reach out to Misrad Hapnim.
