It's a name we're considering, and it's a really nice name! But I love the nickname Lani... do you think that's only for Elana? Do you know any Elianas who are Lani? I feel like it kinda doesn't go, but I just looooove Lani 💖

Lani is def close enough for Eliana.

A nickname just evolves, you don't decide it in advance, and it can be anything.
And only on imamother have I seen people choose a nickname, and then choose a real name to go round it
